What is WWF-Canada's Gifts for a Living Planet program?
This is a program that offers a range of conservation solutions as gifts. Perfect for any occasion and for anyone who wants to help the planet!

Available at price points ranging from $50 to $500, a Gift for a Living Planet is ideal for the person who has everything. Or people who don’t want anything for birthdays or other special occasions. Either way, it’ll make a lot of people smile. And the wildlife and nature will love you too!

Why are these gifts only online?
WWF-Canada’s Gifts for a Living Planet are only available online, so that there’s no excess packaging, mailing and additional shipping costs. How easy and environmentally friendly is that!

Your recipient will get an email with a PDF version of the certificate. If they misplace or damage the gift, it’s not a problem. They can simply print the certificate out again from their inbox.

Your money goes a lot further this way. The automated system not only keeps administration costs low, but also makes it easier to be environmentally responsible.

How do the gifts work?
Simple! Buy a gift from wwf.ca and your recipients receive a personalized certificate. That's it!

The certificate features both your name and that of the recipient so they’ll always remember the special gift you chose for them. If you want, you can even present them with a frame so they can proudly display it.

And WWF puts your gift straight into action! Directing the money to where you’ve specified.

What if WWF-Canada raises more than is needed?

In the event that enough money is raised for a specified project, donations then go to support other critical WWF-Canada conservation initiatives.

What is included in the price of my gift?

How much money actually goes to the field?
For four decades, WWF-Canada has remained committed to keeping administrative and fundraising costs low. We’re proud to say that close to 80¢ of every dollar goes directly to conservation including program implementation.

How do I place an order?
You can choose any of the Unique Gift options available at wwf.ca and wwfstore.ca. Here you will be asked to provide the name of the recipient to create an e-certificate which will be delivered via email. Prior to completing your transaction, you will have the ability to preview and edit the e-certificate. Then, you will be prompted to fill in your contact and payment information. Once the transaction has been successfully processed, you will receive an email with your tax receipt (PDF). An email will be sent to recipient acknowledging that a gift has been made on their behalf with a copy of the e-certificate (PDF).

How quickly do I get my order?
Immediately! An email will be sent to recipient acknowledging that a gift has been made on their behalf with a copy of the e-certificate attached as a PDF.
