Thank You for Celebrating with us
On October 21, 2011 WWF proudly hosted the inaugural Panda Ball in Canada, bringing together leaders from the philanthropic and business communities. Together, we celebrated all that has been accomplished for nature over the past 50 years and all that will and must be done over the next 50 years to protect the future of our living planet.
One of the evening’s great highlights was our inaugural Environmental Leader Awards ceremony, recognizing inspirational allies who have significantly contributed to the cause of conservation: Sonja Bata, Galen Weston and Loblaw Companies Limited, and Robert and Birgit Bateman.
Other highlights included a live auction, special video messages from HRH Prince Charles and Jane Goodall, as well as live entertainment from the Canadian Tenors and John Legend.
