Sue Grant became part of WWF’s volunteer team through the Donor Relations and Services Department.  We are very lucky to have Sue on the team.  Her passion for nature shines through in everything she does.

In her volunteer role at WWF, Sue positive attitude really stands out in everything she does.  From making phone calls to donors to her cheerful demeanor at the front desk, she is always offering to do more - no job is beyond or beneath her comfort level.

Sue’s amazing enthusiasm at our 25th Anniversary CN Tower Climb was passed on to the climbers she called.  She worked at whatever position we needed help with: Panda Handler, Volunteer Registration, Cheerleader, After-party Assistant … Sue helped transform Steam Whistle into a beautiful venue for our VIPs, and organized all the prizes!

Recently, Sue volunteered as the Panda Handler at the Kids’ Run for Nature.

Wanda Hall, our inaugural David Lin Memorial Award recipient (and one of our people behind the panda suit!), was very impressed with Sue’s ability to engage with children while keeping her – aka the Panda – safe. And that’s one of the things Sue does best as an ambassador for WWF- she connects kids with WWF’s mission and makes things fun!

From speaking to the Kindergarten classes about endangered species in her spare time to making sure our mascot is comfortable, Sue uses her passion for nature to mentor younger generations.

We are honoured to know Sue and have her on the volunteer team.  Her dedication to and enthusiasm for WWF is an inspiration for all of our volunteers and staff.
